ABOUT THE DESK Independent, local, curious

Games are made by people working through constraints.

Fadoxirelu is a small editorial desk in Aotearoa New Zealand. We write about the technical choices and cultural conditions that make interactive work matter long after a launch cycle.

OUR METHOD Make the frame visible

We consider work in context.

Every review starts with a practical question: what does this tool, system or space invite a person to do? We test claims against workflow, accessibility and the social conditions around play. We do not publish paid placements, rankings or promotional copy.

Our field notes are anchored in the places where people gather. In Wellington, that includes public encounters with interactive science and design at Tūhura, Te Papa, 55 Cable Street, Wellington 6011, New Zealand.

01Clarity over novelty
02Craft over hype
03Context over claims

LOCAL ADDRESS Regional perspective

New Zealand is the view from the desk—not a marketing category.

We follow local studios, public spaces and international tools with the same attention: patiently, critically and without pretending the work is separate from its setting.
